Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager

As a contracts manager for CCM you will be involved in projects from pre-construction through to construction completion and be responsible for the overall project delivery of the civil works on our major process projects. These projects may range in value from £50m to £500m.

You will manage up to three project teams simultaneously, as well as liaising with the clients’ senior management team to ensure we perform our services with the focus on safe, on time, on budget delivery of project works. With support from the directors we will agree the strategic direction for the projects and will involve you in the bid strategy for CCM to be successful in winning projects.

The role will involve travelling across the UK and, on occasion, travelling to meet with our clients across Europe. You will report back to the CCM board on a monthly basis the strategy of the delivery of the projects.

Project Manager

Our project managers are site based and responsible for managing their project teams to facilitate the overall project delivery of major process plants across the UK.

You will be experienced in major civil work construction ideally on major process plants. Your focus will be on managing your team and the external consultant teams to ensure you receive the information to deliver our construction management services.

The on-site project team is headed up by you so people management is extremely important to ensure the team deliver to their potential.

Health and Safety

H&S Manager

All of our projects require exemplary H&S management whether we are acting as Principal Contractor or not. We focus on the H&S management out on site in the field to ensure that all people on site are safe. You will be experienced in the current legislative requirements and latest H&S initiatives within the industry and have a pro-active and collaborative approach to managing H&S on site and fulfilling our H&S responsibilities.

You will be guided by your project manager and spend most of your time managing and monitoring the trade contractors on site to maintain quality standards in a safe environment. You will support and be supported by the senior team members on site to fulfil your tasks as required.

Quantity Surveyor

Our commercial team is headed up by the commercial director.

Your role will be site based, focused on trade contractor procurement, remeasurement, valuations and commercial reports against the budget.

MEP Manager

MEP Manager

The role is to oversee the design, installation, testing and commissioning of building services and fire engineering systems across our projects. You will be based at head office in Southampton and will visit our projects across the UK and from time to time visit our clients across Europe. The role will include interrogating and commenting on consultant and contractor designs, inspecting installations, witness testing and commissioning, reviewing programmes, commenting on contractor valuations and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
