CCM has successfully managed construction of civil works on the Renescience AD plant in the north west of the UK. This has provided us with an excellent understanding of the challenges of AD technology and gas engine technology on a challenging brownfield site.

The requirements of major sorting technology have linked in well with our newest sector of plastics recycling.

Overview

Anaerobic digestion is a renewable and sustainable source of fuel to generate electricity and support the drive to carbon reduction.

AD uses organic material that is processed to generate biogas which is burned in gas engines to generate electricity.

It is another technology that successfully uses waste from many sources across the UK to generate clean energy.

Working on a new technology is always a great experience for CCM. This project was constructed extremely quickly demonstrating the benefits of construction management.
