CCM has taken its expertise in the civils construction of major power plants into the Biomass sector. We have continued our excellent record of constructing civils on time, on budget and safely. Our experience has embedded a clear understanding of the demands of the sector and the differences in process technologies.
Overview
Biomass used as a fuel for power plants can mean several sources of sustainable fuel including organic materials from animals, humans or plants. Biomass matter is burned or processed to produce energy.
Biomass is generally considered as a sustainable source of fuel to achieve carbon net zero or even carbon negative power generation across the world.
CCM’s experience is in the construction of a natural wood biomass plant with on-site and off-site woodchips being used for fuel.
